Greg discusses the role of God’s son and what the trinity was like before the incarnation. That is, was God the father lonely before the arrival of his son? If Jesus is literally the son of God, wasn’t there a time when there was only the Father? In which case, wouldn’t that mean the the trinity isn’t eternal?
