Our Adorable New Granddaughter!

I know the apostle Paul says that “love doesn’t boast,” but surely he didn’t intend to rule out grandparents boasting about their children and grandchildren! My daughter Alisha and son-in-law Tim have just adopted a precious little girl they’re naming “Eden Cherish.” What an adorable creation of God!
Here’s the whole family together, including their natural-born daughter Sage. Shelley and I feel so blessed to have Eden as part of our family.
While it’s of course natural, noble and godly to have children of your own, it’s also important to remember there are thousands upon thousands of children in the United States and abroad who are in need of loving families. I would encourage couples who feel called to raise children to consider the adoption alternative.Lord bless Eden Cherish and the whole Gilbert family!
