Divine Accommodation/ Progressive Revelation

Note: These are works that discuss the manner in which God had to accommodate the limited and fallen state of his people as he slowly revealed himself to the world – a process that culminates in his full revelation in the crucified Christ. This concept plays an important role in Greg's own understanding of how violent portraits of God in the Old Testament bear witness Christ.

Critiques of Classical Theism

Note: The dominant view of God in the theology of the Church, at least since the fifth century, is called "the classical view of God." This view generally holds that God exists in an eternal, unchanging, non-sequential moment, is not affected by anything outside himself, and experiences no suffering. The following is a list of works that offer biblical and/or philosophical critiques of this perspective.
