Love Weeps
This standoff in the Middle East between Hamas (and Allies) and Israel (and Allies) is taking an emotional toll on me, and I know I’m hardly alone. I imagine my children or grandchildren among the hostages or buried in the rubble or starving while waiting for Aid, and it is just gut-wrenching! It grieves me to the core of my heart.
I think it important that all of us who are not (yet) directly impacted by his on-going human catastrophe but who aspire to follow in the footsteps of Jesus make space in our life to allow ourselves to grieve. Empathize with those who are undergoing this nightmare.
Love weeps with those who weep, and this is a time for weeping.
