Greg Drums

This last weekend at Woodland Hills Church, Greg not only preached, but he also participated in worship by playing the drums. There is something very holy about the convergence of the Word of God and the songs that go up to God as we worship him. There is as much to learn from the beat of the drum in worship as the words that we use to form our theology. Sometimes a pair of drumsticks will demonstrate just as much as a sermon that God is good and that he’s here among us.

Be blessed and use anything at your disposal to reflect the love of God,

The ReKnew Team

When Free Will Meets Unfathomable Evil

In the face of tragedy Christians unfortunately tend to recite clichés that attempt to reassure people that, however terrible things seem, everything is unfolding according to God’s mysterious plan. We hear that “God has his reasons”; “God’s ways are not our ways”;  “God is still on his throne”; “God doesn’t make mistakes,” and things of…

Got Questions About God?

Do you have a friend who’s got questions about God? Greg’s father was an atheist who had lots of questions. Over an extended period, Greg and his father wrote letters to one another where they talked honestly about them. The questions include: Why is the world so full of suffering? Why does God create earthquakes…
