Hey Greg, I am a church planter in south Texas. Last year, I walked my people through The Story – a 31 week reading through the bible chronologically. I was not prepared for the struggle in getting through the Old Testament – for them and for me. I have been informally trained to believe that the “shadow images” of God in the OT had equal weight and value as the life-giving, grace-filled person of Jesus. This was intuitively paralyzing to my soul, but I didn’t know how to handle it. My seekers in our church were really frustrated. I just finished my third listen of your recent message on God’s Shadow Activity. A light has been turned on and my spirit awakened. I cannot tell you how much this podrishioner pastor needed to hear from God through you in this way. Thank you for being faithful.
