Leaders in the Revolution: An Invitation

Network Exploration Meeting

There is a growing movement of pastors, church planters, and churches around the globe who have become convinced that the center of the Gospel is a Jesus-looking God who calls his people to partner with him to advance a Jesus-looking kingdom.  They sense that God is pouring out “new kingdom wine” that is bursting apart the tired old wineskins of Christendom. They sense we are at the cusp of a rising kingdom revolution that is going to radically alter what people identity as “the Christian faith” and “the Church.”  The majority of these leaders are both encouraged and discouraged. They are encouraged by the Jesus-looking kingdom revolution they see rising up,  but discouraged by the lack of networking and partnership amongst others who share their convictions.

As we have been praying and talking, we feel that God has called us in some capacity to begin calling together these leaders for the purpose of friendship and discernment. Therefore, if you count yourself as a leader or potential future leader in this rising revolution,  we invite you to join us on Saturday, September 28, for a time of fellowship and prayer as we have the opportunity to meet one another, pray together, and further discern God’s heart.

Woodland Hills Church will be hosting a ReKnew Conference on September 27-28, entitled “Faith, Doubt and the Idol of Certainty.” The conference ends on Saturday afternoon and all conference attendees are invited to stay for the 5:00 pm worship service at WHC. Following the service, at 6:30 pm, there will be a coffee and dessert gathering for all pastors, church planters, worship leaders, and other ministry leaders who are interested in meeting other leaders who share a desire for friendship and to network with others in ministry.

During this time you will have an opportunity to meet and hear from Greg Boyd and Mark Moore as they talk about the possibility of a new network of kingdom revolutionaries.

You need not be an attendee at the ReKnew Conference to attend this leadership gathering, and the gathering is free. But for planning purposes, advance registration is required.
