Hmmmm, What’s This Tube-Shaped Package at my Front Door?

6If you live in the United States and are expecting a ReKnew Manifesto poster you should be getting it anytime now. If you live in another country, it will take a little longer to get there, but they’re all on their way. We just wanted to give you a heads-up that this poster is letter-pressed old-style and it’s normal to have variations in the density of color and some tiny imperfections. It’s kind of artsy and special that way. We hope you all enjoy it.

We’d also like to invite you to share stories with us about the ways this poster impacts you and the people around you. We’re hoping this poster and it’s message function as more than decoration.

Again, for the time being, this poster is a gift to those who support us with a monthly donation of $25 or more. If you’d like to support us in this way, you can go here for more information, or you can watch this video to see what all the fuss is about.

A ReKnew Manifesto

As our curious name indicates, ReKnew exists to encourage believers and skeptics alike to re-think things they thought they already knew. We want to promote a beautiful, Jesus-looking vision of God and his kingdom. We want to promote a host of related theological convictions that we believe were compromised or lost in traditional Christianity—especially since…

When Our Images of God are Faulty

I’m fleshing out the third proclamation of the ReKnew Manifesto, which challenges us to rethink our conception of God. In the previous post I noted that, since our relationship with God is mediated through our mental picture of him, our image completely determines how we feel about God and what our relationship with him will…

Who’s the God in Your Head?

The mission of ReKnew is to encourage Christians and non-Christians to rethink through things they previously thought they knew. The nine proclamations of the ReKnew Manifesto reflect nine aspects of traditional Christianity, and especially Evangelical Christianity, that we believe need to be reconceived. These by no means exhaust the things ReKnew will be concerned with,…
