We run our website the way we wished the whole internet worked: we provide high quality original content with no ads. We are funded by your direct support for ReKnew and our vision. Please consider supporting this project.

Hmmmm, What’s This Tube-Shaped Package at my Front Door?

6If you live in the United States and are expecting a ReKnew Manifesto poster you should be getting it anytime now. If you live in another country, it will take a little longer to get there, but they’re all on their way. We just wanted to give you a heads-up that this poster is letter-pressed old-style and it’s normal to have variations in the density of color and some tiny imperfections. It’s kind of artsy and special that way. We hope you all enjoy it.

We’d also like to invite you to share stories with us about the ways this poster impacts you and the people around you. We’re hoping this poster and it’s message function as more than decoration.

Again, for the time being, this poster is a gift to those who support us with a monthly donation of $25 or more. If you’d like to support us in this way, you can go here for more information, or you can watch this video to see what all the fuss is about.

Sermon Clip: Twisted Scripture-Romans 10

For many Christians, salvation has been reduced to a one-time prayer where one mentally and verbally agrees to a few key theological beliefs. The Bible and Jesus’ life, however, present us with a more holistic salvation that involves wholeness, new life, and transformation. Instead of viewing salvation as a legal contract, we are invited to…

What Does God Look Like?

Thomas Hawk via Compfight Our good friend Jessica Kelley wrote this blog featuring sermons from Mark Moore about what God is really like. Biblical Versus Magical Faith: Reflections on the ReKnew Manifesto

The second core conviction of the “ReKnew Manifesto” is that we believe it is time for the Church to re-think common assumptions about faith. Faith is at the heart of what it means to follow Jesus and to live under the reign of God. Yet Christians rarely seriously reflect on what it means to “have…
