Sermons: Who’s The Boss

Sermons: Who’s The Boss

The Bible definitely talks about the roles a man and a woman should have in marriage. In this sermon clip, Greg Boyd discusses Colossians 3:18-19 and difficulty in his own marriage upon misunderstanding these roles. Marriage in the Bible can be misunderstood, and it often leads to questions of who should be the boss in our relationships. While it talks about headship and submission, these topics have been abused throughout the years. In this sermon, Greg shows how to interpret these passages and see the bigger picture when it comes to our relationships.

A Marriage Confession, But Not That Kind

Article by Thomas Horrocks Over the last two years I’ve had to do a lot of wrestling with my theology of marriage and divorce. Far too often too many of us try to do theology in a vacuum, divorced (if you’ll forgive the pun), from lived experience. The problem is, that’s not how Jesus teaches…

I’d like to offer a brief response to a curious on-line review of Benefit of the Doubt,  published on thechristians.com. It’s titled, Which came first, Jesus or the Bible?
